Join hundreds of runners and walkers for the action at the Broad Ripple Duck Race 5k & Fun Run!
Choose between the 5k run/walk or .75 mile Fun Run for a scenic tour of the sights & sounds around the village of Broad Ripple! After you finish, check out the Duck Race Festival and watch 3,000+ rubber ducks racing down the Central Canal!
Proceeds benefit the Broad Ripple Village Association (BRVA), a nonprofit focused on enriching the community, amplifying public spaces, and improving quality of life.

Post-race Duck Festival
Stick around after you finish for some post-race celebrating, including vendors, raffles, and other prize giveaways. Then, check out the action at the Duck Race festival – FREE children’s activities set up on the Rainbow Bridge overlooking the Broad Ripple Canal on Guilford Avenue north of Westfield Boulevard for all to enjoy from 9am to 1pm.
Make sure you head to the duck sales booth as soon as you get there to get your hands on a couple of the 3,000+ rubber ducks that will race down the canal at 12:30pm. The ducks will enter the water at the Start Line where the Monon trail crosses the Central Canal. The ducks then race west down the canal towards the Finish Line located by the pedestrian bridge near College Avenue.
