(Ages 9 and under - free, no registration required)
Entry Fees:
$12 - Children 13 and under
$30 - Pre-registration $35 - Same day registration
Team of 10 or more adult participants - $20 per person*
Team of 10 or more student participants - $12 per person*
*Team registration must be mailed in and cannot be processed online.
Note: Any amount over $15 is tax-deductible
Awards:
Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finisher in the following age groups:
13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
Dress in your funniest and creative outfits to have a chance at winning prizes, which will be held post-race for the best costumes as selected by crowd applause. To be eligible to win in the costume contest, you must wear your costume during the race.

Directions:
Just 75 minutes from downtown Chicago and 45 minutes from South Bend, travel to the Samaritan Skedaddle is simple. From I-94, use exit 34B; drive north on US421 to 8th Street; the Start/Finish Line will be one block west. From the east, take Highway 20 to 35 North, turn left at 8th St, the Start/Finish Line is 1 mile ahead.
The Samaritan Skedaddle has become a terrific community event to kick off spring and involve many area businesses, organizations, schools and families that support the Samaritan Counseling Centers Inc. You are invited to join in and/or bring a team of your family and friends to enjoy the Samaritan Skedaddle 5K Run/Walk, a time honored tradition which enriches our community in mind, body and spirit. Over the past 13 years, this event has attracted 500 walkers and racers annually and the proceeds have assisted hundreds of clients. Thank you for helping bring hope!

The Samaritan Counseling Centers, Inc. is a community-based, interfaith counseling and educational service, directly benefiting clients of Northwest Indiana and surrounding areas. The Samaritan Centers’ 35-year mission of helping individuals and organizations heal and grow by improving their spiritual, emotional and physical well-being is a much needed not-for-profit community-based, interfaith counseling and educational service, provided regardless of client’s ability to pay, supported by charitable contributions.
