Description
Join us for the 2nd annual Decades Dash Run/Walk, hosted by Open Door Health Services! Lace up your sneakers and hit the pavement for a meaningful cause—supporting access to essential period supplies for women and girls in need. Starting at Canan Commons, this beautiful 5K and 10K route runs through the heart of downtown Muncie, through the historic Minnetrista campus, and on both White River and Cardinal greenways.
Dress up in your favorite decade! Whether you’re rocking ‘70s bell bottoms, ‘80s neon, ‘90s grunge, or any other throwback style, come in costume and show your spirit as we run (or walk!)
Course
The 5K route starts at Canan Commons and runs through the heart of downtown Muncie, along the White River, and through the historic Minnetrista campus—using both White River and Cardinal Greenways. For more details about the course, click here.
Race swag
5K Race
All 5K Race participants will receive: a short-sleeve Decades Dash t-shirt (with option to upgrade), race bib, and finisher medal
Race t-shirts and specific sizes are not guaranteed after September 19, 2025.
Parking
Free parking is available at Open Door locations. Most street parking is free but limited to 2 hours.
Open Door Administrative Building
Parking lot is located behind/east of the building. Enter from Mulberry Street to avoid race day street closures.
Open Door Downtown Health Center
The main parking lot is in front/north of the building. Enter from E. Adams Street.
The employee parking lot is located to the west of the building. Enter from E. Charles Street.
Public Parking Garage
