Pooches and Pints 5K & Doggie Dash

Join us in kicking off the Pooches and Pints festival with this year's Pooches and Pints 5K & Doggie Dash at the Riverfront Amphitheater in New Albany IN.

The entire race will take place on the Ohio Riverfront Greenway. The out-and-back course will follow the Ohio River on the Greenway for ~1.5 miles then turn around and heading back towards the amphitheater. The Doggie Dash will be a 1K distance welcome to all runners, walkers, and four legged friends. Both events will be chip timed!

The 5K entry fee is $30 and includes race entry, medal, Pooches & Pints Festival entry, drink ticket, and a 5K keepsake tote bag. If you’re planning to run with your dog, we encourage you to register for the Doggie Dash--because of the narrow out-and-back course. However, dogs are also permitted to participate in the 5K. The Doggie Dash fee is $15 and includes race and Pooches & Pints entry.

Stick around for a dog-friendly summer event, perfect for the whole family. There will be a dog lure course, a beer garden, local food trucks, kids' games and more. Don't miss out on the dog contests, including Best Puppy, Most Talented, Crowd Favorite, Best Senior Dog and a Pet Lookalike Contest.

Packet Pick-Up is race morning beginning at 8am near the start/finish line.
