Mission
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization creating opportunities for the community and law enforcement to support each other. Your donations help provide for those less fortunate in our community, support our hard working employees, and build strong relationships in our community.
Goals
Provide financial aid and help for those in need in our community, particularly children. Support our hard working employees at the Sheriff’s Office. Build stronger relationships between our deputies, corrections officers and staff with all members of the community.
“Strawtown Koteewi Park is the largest and most scenic park in Hamilton County, Indiana! The park encompasses more than 800 acres, offers eight miles of multi-use trails and stretches along three miles of the White River. The grounds exhibit a biodiversity in their rich woodlands,
historic wetlands and immense prairie, and are home to a broad spectrum of wildlife species. Equally diverse is the offering of exciting activities that include adventures in treetops, on horseback, downriver, downhill, at an archery range, and even in the field of archaeology.”
