Description
Plymouth Wesleyan Church sponsors their 5th annual Responder Run to raise funds for local Marshall county Sheriff, Police, and Fire departments. This race is to show our appreciation for the organizations that we depend on locally for emergency services!
Some Highlights:
- 5K course beginning and ending at Plymouth Wesleyan Church
- Run or walk
- Professionally chip timed
- Awards for top 3 males and top 3 females in each age category (14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+)
- May donate to the race fundraising instead of or in addition to the $25 registration
- NEW 1K Tots race added at 8:30 am
- Flags of Honor, to honor a responder
Prizes:
- Medal awards and gifts for top male and female runners
- Medal awards 3 deep in each age & gender category
- Final prize drawing for all participants present to include:
- Silver dollars, athletic items, The French Press gift certificate, Wings Etc. gift certificate, Ace Fitness 6 months membership, Granny's gift certificate, and Bourbon St. Pizza gift certificate
- Grand prize drawing for a BIG SCREEN TV!!
- More prizes being added daily!

Flags of Honor
Honor a responder by purchasing a "Flag of Honor" for $10 in their name. Honor those who serve or have served our state, county, local city. An American flag will be placed in the lawn in front of PWC with your responder's name and info. attached for the duration of our race fundraising. Responder's may include Police, Fire, EMS, etc., and can be active or veteran personnel. All money goes toward the fundraiser of our 2019 Responder Run.
