Santas on the Square - 1 Mile Fun Walk

Santas on the Square - 1 Mile Fun Walk is happening on Saturday, December 6th at 4 pm (registration opens at 3 pm).

HOW MANY SANTAS CAN WE GATHER ON ROCKVILLE SQUARE? Be part of the fun!

Santa himself will be at the walk from 3:30-4pm to greet everyone and kick us off before his be debut in the parade that evening!

This fun walk is an untimed, 1-mile walking and "activity optional" event (four laps around the inside of the town square) and the official opening ceremonies of MainStreet Rockville's Hometown Holidays. What better way to get everyone into the holiday spirit than to set a record of how many Santas we can get walking around the town square at once! Ho, ho, ho!  You can simply stroll around the square or, as you stroll, you can participate in the fitness/wellness activities we'll have on the corner of each square.

All participants will be entered to win a handful of prizes at the end!

Kids may attend for free with a paying adult. All participants, including children must have a waiver signed by a parent/legal guardian and be accompanied by that adult at all times during the event.

There is a $10 registration fee for adults - net proceeds will benefit Golden Forrest's Noel Nourishment meals for those in need of a meal at the holidays.

• We will have Santa costume prizes in these four categories -  traditional, funny, sparkly/fancy and family/group of Santas. 
• Hat/Beard packet pickup @ 51 Bridges CrossFit on Fri. Dec. 5 from 3-7pm (or pick up day of event)
• There will be optional fitness/wellness activities at each corner of the square. 
• Each participant needs to register and sign a waiver to participate.
• The walk will start and finish on the South Courthouse Steps.
• This is a non-refundable event. If your plans change or unforeseen circumstances (including inclement weather) keep the event from happening, we thank you for your support of MainStreet Rockville and families in need this holiday season. 
• Registration opens at 3 pm, the walk kicks off at 4 pm.
• No pets.
