Running Clinic with Golden Harper founder Altra Footwear

THE EXTRA MILE  invites you to come hear elite runner & Altra founder Golden Harper share his story & participate in a clinic on running myths vs. marketing! This is a clinic for all runners and will not just be about Altra shoes.

Golden Harper will share his story of running his first marathon at age 10, to setting a world best marathon at age 12, to facing challenges as an adult runner. Golden will talk about how his lifetime of working at a running store and studying running injuries led him to create Altra. Along the way, he will discuss running myths and marketing versus the actual science that will help you to become a better, faster, injury free runner.

Golden holds a world-best for a 12-year old in the marathon at 2:45:34, graduated with a degree in Exercise Science and did his collegiate studies on running technique & running injuries. He grew up working & managing his family owned running store, & was an All-American Cross-Country runner.
