The Larry Tolbert 5K Race is a heartfelt tribute to Larry Tolbert, a passionate advocate for outdoor recreation who was instrumental in bringing the beautiful nature trail to the Switzerland County YMCA. This annual event invites participants of all ages and abilities to experience the scenic, wooded paths of the YMCA’s nature trail, offering a peaceful yet invigorating run or walk through the natural beauty that Larry helped to preserve. All proceeds from the race go directly toward the maintenance and enhancement of the trail and YMCA facility, ensuring that Larry’s legacy continues to benefit the community for years to come.
