Sandhill Shuffle 5k Run/Walk

The Sandhill Shuffle is back!! 
On Friday evening, September 19th, 2025, we will kick off the Festival weekend with some 5k Run/Walk fun, while the Wheatfield Chamber of Commerce hosts a live music event!  What better way to unwind after a race than relaxing in the park with live music! 

The race will once again start and end at Centennial Park, in the heart of the Town of Wheatfield, across from our own Heather's Diner and Stower's & Son Meat & Grocer!   Enjoy 3.1 miles weaving through our small town streets!  All proceeds from the race will continue to go toward our Centennial Park playground project.  We won't stop running until we reach our goal!

Online registration is NOW OPEN and will remain open through September  19th at 11:00am.   ***** Register before September 1st to guarantee your Sandhill Shuffle 5k T-Shirt!!!******

Race Day Registration and packet pickup will begin at 4:30 pm.  Registration for the event will close promptly at 5:45pm before the race start.  

The race will start at 6:00 pm and awards will be handed out in a rolling fashion as runners/walkers are finishing!!  This will make sure we get everyone their awards and on their way to the night's festivities.   

Awards presented at the end of the race will be presented to: 

Overall Female and Male
Overall Female and Male Masters

Top 3  finishers in each Age division, Male and Female:
 10 and under, 11 - 12, 13-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+, and in each Athena (>170 lbs), Clydesdale (>210 lbs), and Non-Binary 

Registration Fees:

Adults (15 and up)  - $25

Youth (14 and under) - $15

RACE PRICE WILL INCREASE TO $30 for ages 15 and up ON SEPTEMBER 1st 2025!!! So be sure to register before then! 

All registrations are final - there are no refunds.
