Description
With the 2020 USARA national championship canceled, we are offering a chance for the US adventure racing community to come together, both to mark the end of another season of racing (or, in the case of 2020, its absence) and to celebrate the work of Troy Farrar, who after 20 years at the helm of USARA is passing the torch to a new executive leadership team.
Unlike other virtual races that have taken place this spring and summer, the The Tiger Balm 2020 USARA Nationals: Pandemic Edition, Presented by the Right Stuff is primarily a synchronous event, set for Saturday, September 12. Racers will have twelve hours to complete their own unique course, right in their own backyards, and then join us for a post-race virtual celebration on Sunday, September 13 (to accommodate racers taking part in the event in time zones across the country).
The event will include three distinct legs with navigational challenges throughout, but racers will have plenty of flexibility to design a course that works with their local terrain.
Sign up today to receive all the details and join us for a memorable conclusion to perhaps the strangest season of adventure racing in the history of the sport. And check out the hashtag #WeARtogether on September 12 to follow all the action!
