Your guide to Corporate Challenge at Indianapolis Motor Speedway
Get ready for event day with everything you need to know before arriving at IMS. Find parking and arrival information, maps, what to bring, food and hydration detials, weather and safety information, spectator guidance and more.
Some instructions vary by event, competition day and participant type. Be sure to review any event-specific communications sent directly to you or your Team Captain.

Top Things to Know
A little preparation goes a long way. Check these items before heading to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
👕TEAM SHIRT & BIB
Wear your company team shirt and participant bib while competing. Running event participants must also have the appropriate timing tag attached to their bib to be timed and scored.

Know when and where you're competiing before arriving.
💧REFILLABLE WATER BOTTLE
Bring a refillable water bottle and stay hydrated throughout the day. Hydration stations will be available throughout the event.

Wear appropriate athletic gear and dress for the weather. Review the rules for your specific activities before arriving.

PARKING & ARRIVAL
Parking and entry procedures vary by event and participany type. Main Event participany parking locations are listed below. Follow event signage and staff directions once you reach the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Team Captains, Cycling participants and Pickleball participants receive separate arrival instructions when applicable.
MAIN EVENT PARTICIPANT PARKING
Participants approaching IMS from the north should plan to use the designated Turn 3 participant parking area.
Participants approaching IMS from the east, west or south should plan to use the designated Lot 2 participant parking area.

Plan Ahead: Allow extra travel time when arriving at IMS. Temporary road construction, traffic patterns and event-day conditions may affect your route.
SPECIAL ARRIVAL INFORMATION
TEAM CAPTAIN PARKING
Team Captains receive separate parking instructions and any required parking credentials directly before the event.
Team Captain parking passes are not available on the public website.

Cycling participants receive event-specific parking and arrival instructions prior to Opening Night.

MAPS & LOCATIONS
Find everything you need to navigate Corporate Challenge in one place, including Main Event and Opening Night maps, parking maps, course maps, Team HQ locations, medical locations and other important event locations.
PARTICIPATION, FAMILY & FRIENDS
Corporate Challenge offers plenty of ways to get involved beyond competition. Review participation-event information and learn how family members, friends and coworkers can join the experience.
🏃PARTICIPATION EVENTS
Participation Events offer additonal opportunities to get active and contribute to your company's Corporate Challenge experience. Activities include the 3K Fitness Walk, Yoga, Zumba, Total Body Fitness and other designated participation opportunities.
Registered participants should wear their participant bib and follow the requirement for each activity to receive applicable participation credit.
🎡FRIENDS & FAMILY ZONE
Family members, friends and coworkers are encouraged to come out and support their teams. Spectator access, waiver information, wristband requitements and Family Fun Zone details will be posted as the event approaches.
Friends and family may participate in select activities when permiteed, but they do not earn Corporate Challenge participation points for a company.
FOOD, DRINKS & HYDRATION
Stay fueled and hydrated throughout Corporate Challenge! Water, food and beverage options are available throughout the event. Review the information below so you know what to bring and what will be available when you arrive.
💧STAY HYDRATED
Hydration is especially important during outdoor compeititon. Bring a refillable water bottle and hydrate before, during and after your events.
Water and hydration stations are available throughout the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
🥤POWERADE & WATER
Water and Powerade will be available at designated hydration locations throughout the event.
Hydration locations are identified on the Main Event Map so you can find the station closest to your competition area.
Tip: Don't wait until you're thirsty to start hydrating. Come to event with your bottle already filled and continue drinking throughout the day.
🍽️ FOOD AT CORPORATE CHALLENGE
💧TEAM LUNCH
Lunch is provided for registered Corporate Challenge participants during the Main Event.
Participants should wear their official participant bib when visiting the designated lunch area. Your bib serves as your credential for participant food service.
Lunch location and serving information can be found on the Main Vent Map and event schedule.
🍱 BRING YOUR OWN
Participants are welcome to bring personal food, snack and non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy throughout the day.
Bring additional snacks is recommended if you're competing in multiple events or expect to be at IMS for an extended period.
Please remember: Glass containers are not permitted.
⛺️AT YOUR TEAM HQ
Your Team HQ is a great place to keep team snacks, coolers and beverages throughout the day.
Check with your Team Captain before the event to learn what your company plans to provide at your Team HQ.
Team Captains receive additional Team HQ setup and venue informatino before the event.
🎉CORPORATE CHALLENGE PARTY
You competed. Now it's time to celebrate!
Stick around after your final event and join fellow participants at the Corporate Challenge Party. Grab some food, enjoy a beverage and celebrate the day with your teammates and coworkers.
🎶THE PARTY
The Corporate Challenge Party is the place to unwind after competition, connect with coworkers and celebrrate your team's accomplishments.
Party location is shown on the Main Event Map. Check the Event Schedule for current party hours.
🍺BEVERAGES
Complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage options are available during the Corporate Challenge Party.
Participants must be 21 or older to consume alcohol and may be required to show a valid government-issued photo ID.
Please drink responsibly.
🎉STICK AROUND
Don't head home after your final event! Celebrate with your teammates, connect with other Corporate Challenge participants and enjoy the final part of the Corporate Challenge experience.
WEATHER & EVENT UPDATES
Corporate Challenge is a rain-or-shine event, but participant safety always comes first. Weather conditions are monitored throughout the event, and activities may be adjusted when necessary.
🌦️RAIN OR SHINE
Corporate Chalelnge activities continue during rain whenever conditions allow.
Do not assume your event is canceled or delayed becuase of rain. Continue to follow the published schedule unless an official update says otherwise.
⚡️SEVERE WEATHER
If lightning, severe storms or other unsafe conditions develop, acitivies may be delayed, suspended or canceled.
Follow instructions from Indiana Sports Corp, Indianapolis Motor Speedway and event officials if weather procedures are activated.
📱EVENT-DAY UPDATES
Weather delays, schedule changes and other time-sensitive information will be communicated through official Corporate Challenge channels.
Check official communications before changing your event-day plans.
📢 STAY INFORMED
Team Captains and participants should monitor official Corporate Challenge communications throughout event weekend. Important on-site updates may also be communicated through event staff and annoucements.
SAFETY & MEDICAL
Your safety is our priority. Medical personnel and event staff are available throughout Corporate Chalelnge if you need assistance.
🏥MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
Medical services are available at designated locations throughout Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Medical locations are identified on the Main Event Map and Maps & Locations page. If you need immediate assistance, notify the nearest event staff member.
🚨EMERGENCIES
If an emergency, call 911 or immediately notify event staff or medical personnel.
When possible, be prepared to provide your location within Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the nature of the emergency.
🪪 EMERGENCY CONTACT
Before arriving, write the name and phone number of your emergency contact on the back of your participant bib.
Keep your participant bib on while competiting and throughout the event.

Additional venue restrictions will be communicated before the event as needed.

Corporate Challene is built around teamwork, friendly compeittion and community.
Treat fellow participants, volunteers, officials, event staff and IMS personnel with respect throughout the event.
