How to create an Indy Mini Team:

1. On the first page of registration, select "Yes" when asked if you would like to join or create an Indy Mini Team
2. Click "Create a New Indy Mini Team"
3. Select what category your team falls into
4. Create your team name
5. Set a password - If you wish to keep the group private, then you will need to include a password. Then, share the password with whomever you would like to join your team
6. Spread the word - Share your team name with friends, family, or anyone else who would like to join! 

How to Join an Indy Mini Team:

1. On the first page of registration, select "Yes" when asked if you would like to join or create an Indy Mini Team
2. Click "Join an Existing Indy Mini Team"
3. Search for the team from the drop down, or enter the team name in the box
4. If prompted, enter the team password

How to join or create an Indy Mini Team if you are already registered:

1. On your confirmation email, please click "manage my registration"
2. On the next page, please click "view registration"
3. It will open up a new web page, and you will see some tabs across the top. Please click "Indy Mini Team"
4. From there, it will prompt you to join or create a team! 

Team Captains

The participant who creates the team will be considered the Team Captain, and has the ability to customize the team with a logo or picture, invite participants to join the team, reset the password, and add other team captains.

If you have any questions about Indy Mini Teams, please email raceinfo@500festival.com. 

*We recommend setting a password for Friends and Family Teams, or any Indy Mini Team where you wish to limit who has access to it.
** The 500 Festival reserves the right to change the name of or delete a Team  - if we deem it inappropriate or offensive.
