The Charities:

The four charities are Legacies Alive, America's Mighty Warriors, the Unquiet Professional and Ruck for the Fallen.

The mission and vision of Legacies Alive  is to "...provide unwavering support to Gold Star Families by ensuring the legacies of our Fallen Heroes are forever alive" and that, "...for every American to understand and appreciate the sacrifices that Gold Star Families have made and continue to make for our Freedom. Our team wants to be able to ask any American, in any corner of this wonderful country, 'What is a Gold Star Family?' and he or she can say, 'A family that sacrificed so that I may be free.'"

America's Mighty Warriors   president and founder Debbie Lee shares the passion of her son Marc Lee in his Last Letter Home where he said around July 4th, 2006 while in Ramadi, Iraq, in part, "However what I do over here is only a small percent of what keeps our country great. I think the truth to our greatness is each other. Purity, morals and kindness, passed down to each generation through example. So to all my family and friends, do me a favor and pass on the kindness, the love, the precious gift of human life to each other so that when your children come into contact with a great conflict that we are now faced with here in Iraq, that they are people of humanity, of pure motives, of compassion.  This is our real part to keep America free! HAPPY 4th   Love Ya,  Marc Lee."  More concerning the programs provided such as Education, Random Acts of Kindness, Helping Heroes Heal and Gold Star Resiliency and Respite can be found here.

The Unquiet Professional is an, "...organization committed to recognizing and honoring our nation’s Gold Star & Surviving Families, Veterans, and military families by providing rewarding and purposeful opportunities to heal from the wounds of war."  Further the team from The Unquiet Professional stated, "" Here at The Unquiet Professional, we’re all about commitment. We’re committed to honoring the American soldiers who gave their final sacrifice, to supporting their families, and to empowering the Veterans and families who continue to fight. Through awareness initiatives and empowering support programs, we’re committed to making noise for those who serve. And it’s all in honor of Michael H. Simpson, the loudest Green Beret we ever knew. "

Ruck for the Fallen is dedicated to our pledge of supporting our lost heroes. Our goal of unwavering support is achieved by raising funds for families who have lost a first responder, an active military member or veteran in the line of duty or who are experiencing mental, emotional and physical effects incurred by the risks they face every day. Our community of Ruckers raise funds by participating in ruck challenges/races or local events sponsored by a military unit All donations raised are used for the well-being of our hero’s livelihood We believe that carrying the burden of loss in our ruck sacks to be an Honor, it’s with pride we fully accept this task. It’s not about personal recognition, but our ability to HONOR those who have willfully placed themselves in harm’s way or sacrificed their lives for everyone’s freedoms and way of life. Ruck for the Fallen will stay true to our pledge by never stopping until all Heroes and their families are wholeheartedly supported. We believe words alone cannot fulfill a promise. We allow our actions to speak for us “The pain we feel in our shoulders holds no bearing on the pride and commitment we carry in our hearts.” “DEEDS NOT WORDS” MSG Mitch Kriebel

Bib will be produced to every registrant for digital download.  T-shirt will be shipped free to every registrant.
