Description
The Germany Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. conducts its annual Kappa Cares Virtual Challenge to raise funds for its scholarship and youth development initiatives; the challenge promotes community health and wellness through physical fitness while delivering educational scholarships for deserving students.
This year's challenge is slightly different. It will consist of four events:
1. 2mi Walk
- Go for a 2mi walk, take pictures, and post your time! Nothing too strenuous--pick a day during our challenge and go on a walk.
2. 5km Run
- One foot in front of the other for 5km, take pictures, and post your time! Any day, any time.
3. 10mi Ride
- For all of the cyclists out there, hop on a bike for 10mi, take pictures, and post your time!
4. Monthly Mileage Competition
- This challenge is for the competitors out there! Walk, run, or ride--your choice. This challenge can be conducted individually or as a team. Find some friends, family members, or coworkers and create a team. Compete against other teams to log the most mileage AND raise the most funds.

Registration opens March 1st, and you can upload your results beginning April 1st!
Fundraiser/Affiliate Link Creation
How To Create an Individual (Affiliate Link) Fundraiser
- Hover over the Donate tab and select Become A Fundraiser in the dropdown menu.
- Once on the Become A Fundraiser page, enter the following information:
- The name of your fundraiser
- Logo/image for your fundraiser
- The monetary goal for your fundraiser
- Customize your personal affiliate link at the end of the runsignup.com URL
- Personal heading and message
- Select the Set Up Fundraiser button
