Description
YMCA of Calhoun County invites you to take this 6 week challenge, designed to awaken all aspects of your Spirit, Mind and Body. There will be 12 tasks to complete, 2 weekly, that are physical, matched with some not so physical challenges.They include running or walking, push- ups, yoga, tracking steps, volunteering, biking, reading, hiking, doing squats, planks and more. We hope you will dive in and just go for it! All of this in 6 weeks! NOTE***Any type of cardio such as swimming or biking can be substituted for the walking and running mileage.

there are 12 activities, 2 per week, that we challenge YOU to complete. You can do them in any order and check off as you complete.You can also substitute any cardio swimming, walking, hiking for any of the cardio mileage.
1) run or walk 8 miles in a week/ can substitute other cardio types
2) 300 push-ups in a week
3) yoga 1x in a week
4) walk 50,000 steps in a week
5) Volunteer in your community
6) bike 20 miles in a week/indoors or outdoors
7) read a book in a week
8) go for a hike in the great outdoors
9) do 150 squats in a week
10) Do 5- 1-2 minute planks in a week
11) take 1 fitness class in a week
12) run or walk 2-5Ks(3.1 miles each) in a week
