Kappa Delta Shamrock 5k Run 2025

The Sigma Lambda chapter of Kappa Delta at Auburn University will host its 31th Annual Shamrock 5k Run to raise money for Prevent Child Abuse America and to locally support Special Deliveries of Lee County. Kappa Delta will host its 5k run on Saturday, April 12, 2025. The Shamrock Project is a national Kappa Delta program, that both collegian and alumnae support, to raise money for the national and local child abuse prevention organizations.

Student Registration:

Registration fee = $15

Does not include a t-shirt

Use code “student15” at checkout 

*have to show student ID at packet pick up*

Regular registration:

Registration fee = $35

Includes t-shirt if registered prior to March 5 | Sizes S-3XL available

T-shirts will be available at packet pickup on Friday, April 11 or at Race Day Check in on Saturday, April 12.

*T-shirts are not guaranteed for those that register after April 5.

*Online race registration closes Wednesday, April 8th, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.

Race Day Registration:

You can register in person on race day!!! Registration will be $40 the day of. 

Race Day Instructions:

The run will be held on April 12th at the corner of W. Thach and Wire Road, near the Sigma Nu fraternity house. The run will begin promptly at 8 a.m., Please arrive between 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. to check in. Age group awards will occur prior to everyone crossing the finish line.

Race Packet Pick Up:

*All t-shirt orders must be picked up at one of the following times. Orders will not be shipped.

Packet pick-up – Friday, April 11th | 12 – 4 p.m.

Location: Leischuck Hall, The Village | Kappa Delta Chapter Room

Race day Packet Pick Up – Saturday, April 11 | 6:45-7:45 a.m.

Location: Starting line at the corner of Thatch and Wire Road.

Awards: 

Awards will be presented to the first-place male and female finishers in the following age groups:

14 & under

15-20

21-30

31-40

41-50

51-60

61 & up

There will also be an award for the First Place Male and Female overall.
