Description
Red Shoe Run is an annual celebration of family, fundraising and awareness for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama.
There are some exciting changes for our 15th Annual Red Shoe Run in 2019! The Red Shoe Run will be held Saturday, March 16, 2019 in downtown Birmingham! The 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run courses will start at finish at the Ronald McDonald House, followed by a family-friendly block party.
The 2019 theme is "Rockin’ 5K" so we’ll have lots of music along the course and we encourage runners to wear a fun costume!
All money raised through the Red Shoe Run stays at the Ronald McDonald House in Birmingham to keep families together at a time when it’s needed most. Special awards are handed out to the top individual fundraiser, the top fundraising team, the most spirited team and the largest team. Team perks include a complimentary team sign, VIP seating and a Team Roll Call during our awards ceremony.
