2017 Walk a Mile in Her Shoes®

Walking in heels is not easy! We are encouraging men to don red high heels and take a walk through Railroad Park in Birmingham to raise awareness about domestic violence. This event will bring together men and women, families, community leaders, businessmen, students and residents. This year, the walk will end at Regions Park for a Birmingham Barons game on Thirsty Thursday! We will have special seating, food and soft drinks available. One beer is included and others can be purchased from our private bartender at the Thirsty Thursday price. All children will also have access to the Fun Park with the purchase of a child's ticket. This event serves to raise awareness about domestic violence and provide essential funds to support the YWCA Central Alabama’s domestic violence programs and services. We can't wait to see you there!
