5th Annual Run-4- Val 5k

Get your running shoes broken in, and let's get ready to DASH FOR CASH in the 5th Annual Run-4-Val 5k run/walk.  This year we have sweetened the pot with a $500.00 CASH prize drawing! You don't have to be the fastest to win the cash, but you do have to participate.  1st place overall male and female winners get  $100 cash prize!  Early Bird Registration starts February 1st.  The 5th Annual 5k is set for APRIL 28th!& 1k Health Walk

This race is held in honor of former City of Centre Police Chief Val Courtney.  Proceeds from the event will support a Scholarship Program in memory of Chief Courtney.  

Race Day Registration is at the Armory located across from the Shell Mart (125 East By-pass Centre, Alabama) and adjacent to the Centre 1st Baptist Recreational Outreach Center (ROC).

Early Packet Pick Up Available on Friday, April 27th from 12 p.m. until 5p.m. at the Odyssey Spa & Fitness Center 1199 Chesnut By-pass, Centre, Alabama 39560

Awards will be given to the top 3 overall male and female finishers as well as the top three in each age group.

0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70+

Virtual options are for those who live out of town, who have to be out of town, or who must work on race day. While you will not get to experience all of the fun of the event or the amazing door prizes, you can still receive a shirt, race memorabilia, as well as the praise on our website that you finished your race at your own pace, on your own time, and on your own course. Send proof of your mileage to Eva Garner at  odysseyhealth@tds.net to receive your race swag.
