ALL IN FOR HAITI

If you enjoy running or walking AND making a difference in the life of others, this is the run for you! 

The primary goal of this event is to raise funds to support For Life Ministries' Love One Haiti program through the common language of running. Love One Haiti seeks to relationally invest in our brothers and sisters in Haiti by educating, equipping, and empowering the community, the local church, and those serving as the hands and feet of Jesus. (www.forlifeministries.org). For Life Ministries is a 501(c)3 located in Owens Cross Roads, Alabama.

On July 28, For Life Ministries with Fleet Feet Sports Huntsville will hold a 3 mile and 5 mile Fun Run at Fleet Feet in Huntsville, Alabama. Additionally, for those that are not able to attend the local event, a virtual run option will be available. What is a "Virtual Run"? A virtual run is one that you do on your own or with a group of friends, co-workers, or family. You choose the time of day, distance and pace that you want to do and then simply email us a short summary of your run, to include the distance, so we can add it to the total. 

The mileage goal for the event (the local 3 and 5 mile runs combined with virtual run is 1,424 miles.)  This is the distance from Fleet Feet Huntsville to Jacmel, Haiti. Your participation in any of the runs will earn you a participation medal to proudly display, help reach the mileage goal, and more importantly make a difference in the lives of others by helping to support the work For Life Ministries is doing in Haiti. There will also be giveaways and other prizes.
