Description

Registration Opens February 1st

Huntsville’s first 24-hour running event will be held at Milton Frank Stadium.

In traditional 24-hour format, participants may run continuously or take breaks as needed throughout the event. Runners are welcome to rest, refuel, socialize, or compete without stopping. In addition to the 24-hour event, race options will include a 6-hour, 12-hour, Marathon, 50K, and 50-mile race.

The goal of this event is to provide an inclusive environment where runners of all abilities can come together to run fast, run slow, and run long.

Aid stations will be available for all participants; however, runners are encouraged to bring their preferred nutrition and supplies. Personal tents and setups are welcome for those planning to stay for extended periods. The event will be chip timed.

Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female finishers in each race category, including the 24-hour, 12-hour, 6-hour, Marathon, 50K, and 50-mile events. Additional awards and recognition may be offered based on participation and performance. All finishers will receive official results and recognition for their accomplishments.

The course is located at Milton Frank Stadium and utilizes an all-weather, synthetic running track. The modern rubberized surface provides a smooth, consistent, and well-maintained running environment suitable for both timed and distance events. The flat, looped course offers excellent footing and is ideal for runners of all abilities, day or night.

Safety

Rules & Safety
Participant safety is the top priority of this event. All runners are expected to compete in a responsible manner and adhere to the following rules and safety guidelines.

General Rules
All participants must wear their assigned bib number at all times while on the course.
The event is chip timed; results will be based on official timing data.
Runners must complete the course as marked and may not cut the course or skip any portion.
Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification.
Race officials’ decisions are final.
Course Conduct
Headphones are permitted; however, runners must remain alert and aware of their surroundings.
Strollers, bicycles, skates, and motorized vehicles are not permitted on the course.
Pacers are not permitted unless explicitly allowed by race management.
Runners must yield to faster participants and follow posted signage and verbal instructions.
Night Running Safety
Course lighting will be provided, but personal lighting enhances safety.
Medical & Assistance
Basic first aid will be available on site.
Participants are responsible for monitoring their own physical condition and hydration.
Any runner experiencing medical distress should stop immediately and seek assistance from race staff or volunteers.
Race officials reserve the right to remove any participant from the course if continued participation is deemed unsafe.
Dropouts & Time Limits
Runners may stop or resume running at any time during timed events, provided they remain within event rules.
Participants choosing to withdraw must notify race officials.
Only laps completed before the official end time of each race will be counted.
Weather & Conditions
The event will take place rain or shine unless conditions become unsafe.
In the event of severe weather or unforeseen circumstances, race management may modify, delay, or cancel the event to ensure participant safety.

The Crew & Tent Area is intended to provide a safe and organized space for runners to rest, refuel, and receive support during the event.

Crew Access
Crew members are permitted only in designated crew areas.
Crew members must follow all event rules and instructions from race officials and volunteers.
Crews may assist runners with nutrition, hydration, clothing, and basic support only.
Pacing or running alongside participants is not permitted unless explicitly allowed by race management.


Tent & Setup Guidelines
Runners may set up personal tents, chairs, and tables in designated areas only.
All setups must be clearly labeled and positioned so they do not obstruct the course, walkways, or emergency access routes.
Open flames, grills, or cooking devices are not permitted unless otherwise approved by race management.
Generators and amplified music are not permitted. Personal battery-powered lighting and electronics are allowed.

Shared Space & Conduct
Please be respectful of neighboring runners and crews, especially during overnight hours.
Excessive noise, unsafe behavior, or interference with other participants may result in removal from the event.
All participants and crews are responsible for keeping their area clean and disposing of trash properly.

Breakdown & Cleanup
All personal equipment and trash must be removed from the venue at the conclusion of the event.
Items left behind will be disposed of and not stored by race management.

Team events are designed to encourage participation, teamwork, and shared endurance while maintaining fairness and safety for all runners.

Team Composition
Teams must consist of 2 to 6 runners unless otherwise specified by race management.
All team members must be registered and assigned to the same team prior to the start of the race.
Team changes after the race start are not permitted.

Relay Format
Only one team member may be on the course at a time.
Teams may exchange runners at any point along the course within designated transition areas.
There is no required minimum or maximum distance per runner.
Teams may rotate runners as frequently or infrequently as they choose.


Timing & Scoring
The team race will be chip timed.
Total team distance will be calculated by combining all completed laps run by team members within the designated time period.
Only laps completed before the official end time of the 12-hour or 24-hour event will be counted.

Conduct & Safety
Team members must follow all event rules, course guidelines, and safety requirements.
Team members not actively running must remain in designated crew or tent areas.
Pacing or running alongside an active runner is not permitted.

Awards
Team awards will be presented to the top overall teams in each timed event category.
Additional divisions (e.g., male, female, mixed) may be recognized based on participation.
