The Weiss Dam 5K

The Dam 5K – 2019 To be held at the Weiss Dam Run or Walk – It’s Your Race Hosted by The Unbreakable Fighters, Inc.

November 9, 2019 @ 4:00pm  Veterans March at 5:30, Fireworks show to follow

All Proceeds will benefit The Unbreakable Fighters    Shirt guarantee deadline is Monday, October 28th  

Unbreakable Fighters is a non-profit organization that provides medical equipment, resources, and relief funds to families of children with unique disabilities.

Come out and celebrate a great race and stay for the Fireworks!!!!

Race Day Registration/Packet Pickup: 3:00 pm – 3:45 pm           Race begins: 4:00 p.m.

Race Entry Fee: $25 - Alabama Power Employees, GRC and ARC Members: $20

T-shirt purchase only: $15 donation.  Donations above entry fee are welcomed and appreciated.

Trophies Presented to: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall for male and female.  Medals to the Top 3 male and female finishers for each age group.  (Age groups are as follows:  1-13, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-70, and 70+)

This is an out an back course, with beautiful view of the Weiss Dam and River the whole route, followed by a fireworks show to honor our Veterans!
