Eden's Popsicle Dash

We are excited to welcome back ECCF's 2nd Annual 5k race! With a new name and a new date, Eden's Popsicle Dash will be on September 16th, 2023 at Lincoln Park in Lincoln, AL, right off of Interstate 20. Eden's Popsicle Dash will feature a 1 Mile Fun Run at the beginning of the event, and our main race, the 5k, will start about 15 minutes after. (Adults who are participating in the 5k but wanting to run in the 1 Mile Fun Run with their child can do so for free.)

Our 5k course is a USATF Certified Course, and we will have professional event timing conducted by Fleet Feet Birmingham! We are so excited to be working with them to make this event as big as possible! After the race, we will have Frios Gourmet Pops available, and the first one is FREE for all participants, courtesy of Brandon Tate State Farm Agency!

For our 5k participants, each one will receive an event bag (provided by Fleet Feet Birmingham) with an event t-shirt, a personalized bib # with a chip, and safety pins, along with some extra goodies from our sponsors. Our 5k participants will be in the running for prizes within 5 male & female age divisions, and the top Overall Male & Female Runners will receive special, top-tier prizes! For our 1 Mile Fun Run participants, each one will also receive the event bag with everything included (except a chip for the bib), and kids 17 & under will receive a medal.

Prizes: 1st place = $75 cash, $25 gift card to Fleet Feet Birmingham, & 1st place medal
2nd place = $50 cash, 2nd place medal

Overall Male & Female Winners:
Prizes: $125 cash, $50 gift card to Fleet Feet Birmingham, a plaque

After the race, enjoy our refueling refreshments and snacks, and best of all, get yourself a popsicle to reward yourself! It will be a fantastic morning to raise money for the Eden Calhoun Charitable Fund and honoring our sweet Eden for her 1st birthday!

**For Virtual Runners (Houston, San Antonio, anyone not physically attending the event in Alabama), please choose the "Virtual Runner" option during event sign-up so we know to ship your event shirt in time for race day!**
