2018 Storybook 5K and Fun Run

The 3rd annual Storybook 5K and Fun Run, hosted by the Junior Board of the Vestavia Hills Library Foundation, is a fundraiser for the Children's Department of the Vestavia Hills Library in the Forest.  The 5K will begin at 8:00 am with the 2 Mile Run  beginning at 8:10 am and the One Mile Fun Run following at 9:00 am.   Official chip timing is available for 5K and 2 Mile Run participants.  This all ages event will be fun for the entire family as well as all members of our community and the greater Birmingham area. In addition to the 5K race, 2 mile run, and Fun Run, there will be live music, bounce house and slide, storybook characters, ballet dancers in costume, face painting and complimentary food and drinks!  New this year, run or walk with your four-legged family members by choosing the Run, Walk, or Wag option for an additional $5 per dog! Participating dogs must be leashed at all times. Packet pick-up will be at Vestavia Hills City Hall on Friday, October 26 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. Register by October 14 to guarantee a race t-shirt!
