Dream B.I.G. 5k

The Associated Student Government (ASG) at the University of Arkansas is currently working on addressing an important issue affecting a significant portion of the population in Northwest Arkansas and across the United States. Seventy-two percent of girls feel that society limits them strictly on the basis of their gender. Too often, people use the phrase “like a girl” to be demeaning or associate this term with poor performance. To help combat this issue and bring awareness to this dilemma, the Freshman Leadership Forum of ASG is hosting the Dream B.I.G. 5K race that will take place on March 5, 2016, at 10:00am on the University of Arkansas campus. 

To run in the Dream B.I.G. 5K, the cost will be $10 non-refundable which MUST be paid in exact change or check made out to the Associated Student Government on the dates of February 22 through March 4. The Associated Student Government is not allowed to accept payment online because it is a registered student organization. Due to our inability to except online payment, race participants will need to pay by 9:30 AM of Race Day. Participants may start bringing payment to the Office of Student Activities (OSA Office) on the sixth floor of the UARK Student Union room A665 starting February 22 - March 4th, Monday through Friday, 9am-4pm. If participants choose to register on race day (March 5) the price is increased from the original $10 to $20.
