Description
This race is to honor a fellow runner, Brent Morrison , who was out for an early morning run and was shot to death in July, 2015. Western Arkansas Runners continues to honor Brent with this annual 5k that falls around the anniversary of his death. Proceeds from this race will be donated in his honor to the Fort Smith Trail System as he was an avid runner and it only seems appropriate to fund something that will benefit fellow runners.

Packet Pickup Information
Packet Pick up will be held on Friday July 6th from 5:30- 7:00 at TRUE GRIT RUNNING COMPANY, 6808 Rogers Ave ( Behind Chick Fil-A ), Fort Smith, AR.
Morning of Registration and Packet Pick up will begin at 5:30 am at ArcBest Parking Lot where race starts - 8401 McClure Rd, Fort Smith, AR 72916
