Live Well 5K Run/Walk

The Live Well 5K Run/Walk is sponsored by Little Rock Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., an organization of college educated women committed to the constructive development of its members and to public service with a primary focus on the Black community. On Saturday, May 30, 2026, in partnership with the Delta Presents Outreach Foundation, we will host the 4th Annual Live Well 5K Run/Walk: A Physical and Mental Health Movement. The Live Well 5K Run/Walk is an opportunity to bring the community together for the purpose of promoting physical and mental health/wellness. Research has shown that running and walking have a positive impact on mental health like better sleep, stress reliever, improved self-esteem, sharper focus, and improved memory.

Your support will assist us in our efforts to provide scholarship incentives for high school students interested in furthering their education as well as support overall mental health/wellness in our chapter and community. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds raised from this race will benefit Girls on the Run Central Arkansas. Girls on the Run inspires girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experienced-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.

The Live Well 5K Run/Walk is a family-friendly community run/walk for men, women, and children. Runners, joggers, and walkers are encouraged to come out and enjoy a healthy, fun-filled event while supporting a worthy cause.  

COURSE: Live Well 5K Run Walk Course

RACE DISTANCE: 5K (3.1 miles)

TIME LIMIT:  1 hour and 45 minutes. Any participant still on the course after the time limit is reached will continue with our guidance or security.

TIMING: Chip timing 

RACE BIBS: 

• Clearly visible on the front of the torso
• Unaltered and unmodified (not folded or wrinkled)
• Pinned in all four corners
• Uncovered (jackets, fuel belts, etc.)

AWARDS: TBD

EVENT SWAG:

• Dri-Fit Short-sleeve T-shirt, Dri-Fit Tank (for those who register by April 19, 2026). 
• Finisher medal

NOTE: Race bibs and event swag are ONLY available for in-person participants at packet pick-up or on race day.
