Description
Inaugural race is hosted by First Assembly of God NLR. Rescue Run is a collaborative event to raise awareness about human trafficking.
Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery where people profit from the control and exploitation of others. It is one of the fastest growing criminal industries in the world. Our community and those around us are affected by sex trafficking. The average age a child becomes a victim of sex trafficking in the United States is 12-14 years old. Facts like these are not glamorous, and often not talked about. With this 5K, we want to come together as a community, voice these issues, and run and walk for the people who cannot.
Enjoy a family friendly event, and a scenic course along the Arkansas River Trail! Every 5K finisher receives a custom finisher's medal and a moisture-wicking T-Shirt! All Kids Fun Run finishers receive a custom finisher's medal and a T-Shirt!
Not available on Race Day or live out of town? Our Virtual 5K/1M is for you! We will send you all of your goodies, and you can finish the race on your own!
