Description
The Arkansas Delta Flatlander Bike Ride is a bike ride for all ages and abilities. Cyclist will start in West Memphis, Arkansas and have the choice of a 67, 40, and 20 mile road bike ride. The 67, 20 and 40 mile ride will take you through the farm lands of Crittenden County. The 67 mile ride will take the riders around Horse Shoe Lake. The ride will begin at the intersection of Broadway and South Loop. All rides will start at 9:00 am. Supported with roving trucks and 3 Sag stops with bathrooms/ port o johns based on distance with water, Gatorade, fruit, snacks, and goodies. The Gravel Grinder is a unsupported ride on the Mississippi River Levee, or a Tour of the proposed Delta Regional Park that will be located between the two Interstates. West Memphis employee Phillip Para will lead the tour of the Delta Regional Park and showcase the future features of the proposed park. The Gravel Grinder will start a few minutes after the road bike ride. from the intersection of South Loop and Broadway. Phillip Para will take the riders to the Levee on the way to Delta Regional Park. There, you can take the Levee Road or follow Phillip on the tour.
Riders will receive a custom designed Dryfit Long Sleeve T-shirt , Peddler Coupon, and goody bag. Plus post ride- enjoy Pancho's food, beverages, beer and live music by Infiniti Band starting at 11 am for all riders and volunteers.

Courses
The 20, 40, and 67 mile courses will have sag stops at 10 miles (this is the turn around for the 20 mile ride), 20 mile (this is the turn around for the 40 mile ride), and mile 31, mile 47, and mile 57 for the 67 mile ride.
The Gravel Grinder is a self supported ride that takes you along the Mississippi River Levee System. You will leave the parking area a few minutes after the road bike ride departs. The start is about 1 mile from the levee, there you will ride on top of the levee on a gravel road hence the name Gravel Grinder. You can set your own distance for this ride.
Points of interest: 5.5 mile open view of the Mississippi River, 8.5 mile Wyanoke Crevass and Grassy Lake, 10 mile Fletcher Bayou, and 11.76 Waverly Rd.
