Description

April is Safe Haven Awareness Month! Join the National Safe Haven Alliance for our annual, Virtual Run/Walk Challenge for Safe Haven Awareness and help raise support for a great cause!

Register to run or walk a 5K, 10K, OR a Half Marathon (21K), at your own pace during April, raise awareness by sharing Safe Haven information, and fundraise for NSHA's efforts to prevent infant abandonment in our country! $35 registration fee + $3.10 signup fee includes an event t-shirt and sticker mailed to you! (Participants must register by March 15 to receive a t-shirt by the first of April. The top individual or team will receive a gift and recognition from NSHA after the event and your photo featured on our event website next year!)

Details:

1.) Register to run/walk a 5K, 10K OR 21K (half marathon) and ask friends and family to help you meet a goal, (such as $200), to help save babies and support parents in need!

2.) Create a fundraiser upon registering. This can be done via Facebook Fundraiser and/or via the event website. (Instructions provided at registration.)

3.) Share NSHA's social media posts, information about Safe Haven, and your goal/fundraising progress throughout April! (Register by March 15 and you will get a shirt and sticker!)

You can also create a fundraising team and work together to get family and friends to help you meet your goal! This is a great way to get more awareness in the community and support for families and babies. And you still receive a shirt and sticker!

The individual and team that meet their goal and raise the most in donations will receive a prize at the end of April!

You can also show your support by simply donating! Click the "Donate" button at the top of the page.
