The Dirty Duathlon is returning to McKenzie Ranch and its fast and smooth trails. McKenzie Ranch Trails Park is a 1,700-acre natural open space park located on the far east side of Pima County and north of Marsh Station Road. Riders will complete both Lozen (north) Loop and Dahtest (south) Loop on the McKenzie Ranch competitive race course. Photos of the course can be found on TrailForks.
The course is safe for the first timer yet challenging enough for the experienced.
Individual and Relay options.
Run 1 - 4.4 mile loop (Dahteste Loop and down Lozen Link (clockwise)
Ride - 9.7 mile mountain bike course (Dahteste Loop plus Lozen Loop (clockwise)
Run 2 - 3 mile trail (Hohokam Trail out-and-back)
All participants will receive a Dirty Du trucker hat and custom finisher's medal.
Finish line food.
Duathlon Participants must have an annual USAT membership or buy a 1-day license ($15).
Duathlon Awards will be by gender in five-year age groups: 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, and so forth.
