Description
Sunshine Insurance Marathon Bahamas is in its 13th annual running of the marathon, half marathon and relay. Usually held on the idyllic island of the capital of The Bahamas, Nassau, which is immersed in history, natural charm, beauty, white-sand beaches, aquamarine waters and hospitable and welcoming residents, Marathon Bahamas has become the pre-eminent endurance event of the country. 2022 will mark the second VIRTUAL running of Marathon Bahamas.
BENEFICIARIES - As always, net proceeds will benefit our four charities: Cancer Society of The Bahamas, Sister Sister Support Group, Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation and Cancer Society of Grand Bahama.
DATES - January 8 - 16, 2022
CHOOSE YOUR EVENT/S - MARATHON, HALF MARATHON, 4-PERSON RELAY TEAM (can all run together but must complete a total of 26.2 miles combined)
EVENT LOCATION - Anywhere, anytime between January 8 - 16
SWAG - Gender-specific Tech Shirt (size/gender guaranteed if registered by 12/1), personalized virtual bib, large customized finisher medal with spinning conch shell, virtual finisher certificate to download and print.
Free swag shipping (US/Canada) post event (4-6 weeks after). Your package will be shipped once. Marathon Bahamas is not responsible for any lost or unreceived packages. We recommend that all international participants use a US address to ensure safe and timely receipt. International shipping will incur a small shipping cost. Please make sure that you add the 'extra' at checkout if you want your swag shipped IF YOU ARE NOT LOCATED IN NORTH AMERICA.

RESULTS - By using the event app - RaceJoy, results are automatically uploaded when you complete your distance. RaceJoy timing information will be posted pre-event. Post your pics on our Facebook page - there will be a thread pinned to the top of the page for you to post your awesome pictures (optional). If not using the event app, you can submit your results manually on your profile page on RunSignUp (top right hand corner of the registration page under RESULTS) .
