Run Bahamas is a vibrant, multi-event running festival designed to bring together athletes of all levels for an unforgettable endurance and agility challenge. The course follows Nassau’s breathtaking shoreline, offering participants stunning oceanfront views and an unforgettable race experience. The 2027 edition features a diverse lineup of races, including a full Marathon, a 4-Person Marathon Relay, a Half Marathon, a 10K, and the inspiring Colors of Courage 5K, along with Virtual Half and Full Marathon options for participants around the world.

Whether you’re a seasoned marathoner chasing a personal best, part of a relay team looking for a fun and competitive challenge, or a casual runner and walker wanting to be part of an energetic community event, Run Bahamas offers something for everyone. The event celebrates fitness, resilience, and camaraderie, while showcasing the natural beauty, culture, and spirit of the islands.

With both in-person and virtual participation options, Run Bahamas invites runners locally and globally to join in a shared journey of achievement, wellness, and celebration.

This event is scheduled for January 31, 2027, commencing at 6:00 AM from the iconic Goodmans Bay and is powered by Four Seasons Race Management . Its CEO is Marcel M Bop Major, a Road Runners Club of America-RRCA Certified Race Director.

Race Routes

5k – The 5K race will commence at Goodman's Bay and proceed eastbound along West Bay Street. Participants will continue to the designated turnaround point located in the northern lane opposite Burger King on West Bay Street. After completing the turnaround, runners will retrace the course westbound, returning to Goodman's Bay where the race will conclude.

10k – The 10K race will begin at Goodman's Bay and follow an eastbound route along West Bay Street toward downtown Nassau. Participants will continue to the designated turnaround point located in the northern lane directly in front of the main entrance of the British Colonial Nassau Hotel. Following the turnaround, runners will retrace the course westbound, returning to the finish line at Goodman's Bay.

Half Marathon – The Half Marathon commences at Goodman’s Bay, heading east along Cable Beach to West Bay Street and into downtown Nassau. Runners turn around at Rawson Square and Bank Lane before retracing their route to Goodman’s Bay. The course then continues west past Goodman’s Bay on Cable Beach, with the turnaround at the northern lane opposite the Sandy Port main entrance (approximately 0.45 miles beyond Atlantic Avenue and the Super Value Shopping Plaza), and finishes at Goodman’s Bay.

Marathon – The Marathon features a double-loop course, requiring participants to complete the Half Marathon route twice. The race culminates at the finish line at Goodman’s Bay.

Marathon Relay Exchanges

Exchange 1 and Exchange 3 – The first and third relay exchanges are at Goodman’s Bay, following a segment east along Cable Beach to West Bay Street, into downtown Nassau, with a turnaround at Rawson Square and Bank Lane. Runners return along the same route, exchanging at Goodman’s Bay after 7 miles.

Exchange 2 and Exchange 4 – The second and fourth relay exchanges cover the segment from Goodman’s Bay heading west on Cable Beach, with a turnaround at the northern lane opposite the Sandy Port main entrance (approximately 0.45 miles past Atlantic Avenue and the Super Value Shopping Plaza). This leg concludes at the finish line at Goodman’s Bay, covering a distance of 6.1 miles.
