Let's make childhood cancer a National Priority!

BACKGROUND

Commemorating the 2016, 200-mile tag-team run for the DIPG Awareness Resolution the year it was first introduced into US Congress, Jack's 200-mile Relay for Childhood Brain Cancer Awareness commemorates the original run, and 200-mi route with a virtual, world-wide challenge to raise public awareness for childhood brain cancer, the leading cause of cancer-related death in children.

The original run went 200 miles from Bakersfield to Huntington Beach, passing through Acton, Agua Dulce and Santa Clarita, San Fernando Valley, Hollywood, Santa Monica, and down PCH to Huntington Beach.  Everett Smith, aka "Raggedy Crow" #LoveIsAll childhood cancer advocate tag ran with Janet Demeter, who dubbed the DIPG Awareness Resolution #Moonshot4Kids, as it was first introduced the day after the original Cancer Moonshot Initiative was announced in 2016.

THIS IS IT!

WE'RE ALMOST TO THE FINISH LINE WITH THE DIPG AWARENESS RESOLUTION, H. RES. 404 in the 117th Congress, OUR #MOONSHOT4KIDS!

The United States Congress has the opportunity, simply by allowing H. Res. 404 to have a House Vote with enough signatures of support, to set a precedent of caring for America's children and lead for the world by acknowledging the urgent, unmet needs of children with brain cancer, the leading cause of cancer-related pediatric mortalities in the US.  IF you are a United States resident, you can send a pre-written, editable letter to your Rep in Congress to support H. Res. 404 here, or visit PASSHRes404.com

YOUR TEAM can compete in fundraising as well as the cumulative number of miles covered!  A very special award will be given to the highest earning team, and the team with the most miles.
