Are you ready to lace up your sneakers and join us for a great cause? Join your family and friends on a scenic cruise through Granite Bay. We are proud to announce our 16th annual Eureka Schools Foundation Fund Run! The Fund Run promotes a healthy, active lifestyle while providing a fun, community-centered opportunity to raise funds to support students, teachers, and programs of the Eureka Union School District. 95 cents of every dollar raised goes directly to ESF.
You can register for a 5K, 1M, or Kids’ Run (100 yard dash). Popular with local families and fitness enthusiasts from across the region, the event attracts over 1,000 runners, walkers, and spectators. Stay after the race and hang out with your community, support the youngest runners as they sprint across the football field for the 100 yard dash, and attend the awards ceremony.

When and How to Register
- Online by Saturday, September 28th, at 11:59 PM PST
- At Packet Pick-up on Saturday, September 28th, from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm at Powell Real Estate office 6951 Douglas Blvd, Granite Bay, CA
PLEASE NOTE: There is a surcharge to register. The surcharge is a "convenience fee" that covers the costs issued by the credit cards / online registration company. We work hard to find the best rates to keep the surcharge as low as possible.
EUSD Teachers and Administration: Please register with your EUSD email address and use the coupon code you were provided.
Entry Fees
5K and Youth 1 Mile
- $40 if you register by August 31st
- $50 if you register by September 28th
- $60 on race day, September 29th
- 100 yard dash: $25 early registration & on race day
Standard Entries Include:
- A short sleeve t-shirt (size guaranteed only if registered by August 31st, 2024 and picked up on Packet Pickup Day. Size NOT guaranteed on race day)
- Chip timing (Youth 1 Mile and 5K)
- Age groups for Youth Mile timing: 8 & under, 9-12
- Age groups for 5k timing: -7, 8-11, 12-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Course Safety
Roads are not closed for this event! You will be sharing the road with vehicle traffic and must obey pedestrian traffic laws. Participants should use caution and keep to the shoulder. Volunteer cyclists will lead out the 5k and 1 mile runners from the start and proceed in front of the 1st runner to the finish line. A cyclist will also trail the last runner.Race volunteers will be located throughout the course. If assistance is needed, look for National Charity League (NCL) volunteers wearing navy NCL shirts or bright blue volunteer shirts.
Additional Race Info
- As much as we love our furry friends, ABSOLUTELY NO DOGS ALLOWED ON THE GRANITE BAY HIGH SCHOOL CAMPUS or on the course as it posed a safety hazard for our participants. Please relay this info to your friends and family that may come to watch.
- Results and awards will be based on chip time
- Strollers, please stay in the back with walkers
- Only registered and licensed service animals are permitted on the course due to insurance requirements.
- All entries are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. The event will take place, rain or shine.
