Valencia Football Community Roar & Run Virtual 5K Run/Walk/Bike

The VHS football program will be hosting a Community Roar & Run/walk 5K and 10k cycle race.

Where? The race is anywhere you want it to be. 

How do you do a 5k or 10K “VIRTUALLY”?

We are asking that any day starting on July 23rd – July 27th you run/walk or bike anywhere you like. Whether you can run the entire 5K or want to walk, this event is for for the whole family.It can be around your neighborhood, a trail, an open track, or even on a treadmill.This allows you to participate from wherever you are in a safe environment.  You will track your run/walk/bike ride log into your account profile at https://runsignup.com  and input your time.  The great thing is you don't have to do it all in one day. If you wanted to you can do this over a period of days (July 23rd - July 27th). Runsignup.com will keep track and tally your times.Don't forget to send us photos and tag us @vhstigersfootball.  We will be posting photos on our social media 

Every participant will receive a commemorative t-shirt, a downloadable/ printable race day bib and finisher certificate.  

This is a fun community wide event and is open to the public. Please keep in mind due to COVID-19  this race format is to run/walk/bike your own race  and stay safe:

- no gathering before, during or after.

- no group running/walking unless with a member of your household.

- practice social/physical distancing at all times, keeping at least 6 feet apart from others at all times.

- stay safe and race solo.

If you are not able to do a 5K/10k but still want to participate, consider making a donation or becoming a Team Fundraiser.

**Please note that this is a self-coordinated / self-paced virtual run to complete on your own time. You can run at anytime and anywhere you wish. Once complete, you can send your results through runsignup.com and to upload to your profile.

All proceeds from the event will go to support the Valencia High School Football Program
