RUN FOR RIO 5k

The 2024 RUN FOR RIO 5k (3.1 miles) walk/run & Kids 1k (must be 10 & under) is a fun community event for the entire family! The event will be at Seascape Park again (rain or shine!) and we will also have a 'virtual' option for those that would prefer to do it on their own. Sign up soon & join the fun!

The event is a great way to set a goal to work toward and it promotes good health & wellness, while also raising funds for Rio Del Mar Elementary School. This race is hosted by the Rio Del Mar Parent Alliance in support of our amazing students and teachers! We hope you can be a part of the fun, either in-person or virtually! 

** We won't have 'official' results this year, but there will be a timing clock at the finish line. Fleet Feet has donated gift cards to the top 3 finishers (male/female) in both the 1k and 5k! Instead of giveways, we're giving all proceeds right back to Rio Del Mar Elementary school. Martinelli's apple juice, Pacific Cookie Co cookies & a finishers ribbon will be waiting for you at the finish line!
