Kern Tough As Nails 2x4

This race is free but all participants must make a donation to the Adventist Health of Bakersfield Foundation. List "Tough as Nails 2x4" in the comment section on the donations page. Click here to donate.
Rules:
1. Run 2 a mile lap every 4 hours.

- Your first 2 mile lap must start at 6pm on Friday April 24th
- You must complete a 2 mile lap within each 4 hour block
- 2 mile laps will happen between the hours as follows:
i. 6pm – 10pm, Friday April 24th
ii. 10:01pm – 2am, Friday April 24th and Saturday April 25th
iii. 2:01am – 6am, Saturday April 25th
iv. 6:01 am – 10 am, Saturday April 25th
v. 10:01 am to 2pm, Saturday and Sunday April 25th
vi. 2:01pm to 6pm, Saturday April 25th
vii. 6:01pm to 10pm, Saturday April 25th
viii. 10:01pm to 2am, Saturday April 25th and Sunday April 26th
ix. 2:01am to 6am, Sunday April 26th
x. 6:01am to 10 am, Sunday April 26th
xi. 10:01 am to 2pm, Sunday April 26th
xii. 2:01 pm to 6 pm, Sunday April 26th
2. All laps must be recorded on Strava and posted in the Kern Kwarantine Ultra Club. Click here to join the Kern Kwarantine Ultra Page for free.
3. Awards will be given to those who:
- Complete every lap (the best finishers trophy in sport!)
- Upload the best Strava Art
- Are socially distanced and socially present (on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram). Hashtags are #Kern2x4 and #GetFitKern
- Show their event pride with the best homemade race bib
- NOTE: If there is only one athlete that completes all 12 laps, they win! Ties will be broken by the athlete that completes all 12 laps the fastest
4. You are encouraged to run or walk each 2 mile lap in your own neighborhood. Hey, you can even do 2 miles in your own backyard! Or on your own treadmill!
5. You must stay 6 feet away from any people you may encounter during your laps.
