Description
Why Participate in the LA Parks Run Series?
The Los Angeles Parks Run Series explores some of the most iconic historical parks in the urban Los Angeles area. Since 1974 Aztlan Athletics has used these locations. These events continue to support the Aztlan Athletics Foundation, Audubon Nature Center at Debs Park and Los Angeles Parks Foundation. Challenge yourself while supporting these agencies at the LA Parks Run Series. Those who register for the series will receive an additional special commemorative series medallion, in addition to the swag provided from each event.
Thousands of youth and mentors have participated in one or more of these events (Aztlan Cross Country Classic and 4 Mile Hill Challenge). The series helps facilitate youth and employees wellness programs and brings mission-driven community-based wellness sponsors to showcase their products and services.
Funds generated help support the Aztlan Athletics summer youth running camps, Los Angeles Parks Foundation, EverWalk Foundation, and the Audubon Nature Center at Debs Park.

We are honored to be partnering with the Los Angeles Parks Foundation (LAPF). Parks are an integral part of not only keeping our health, body, mind, spirit, and soul, but studies have shown that outdoor frequent movement-type activities help us restore functioning. Dr. Laura Andrade (Aztlan Athletics Foundation) completed research which further supports that a repetitive, active, outdoor activity is a low cost alternative to help children/youth/adults dealing with trauma and/or impact from a stressful event. Let’s champion our LA City parks by asking your support to sponsor you as a participant in the series or in each individual event.
