Did you know Dublin has 26 miles of trails? Join us by kicking off National Parks Month this July with the Dublin Trail Challenge. Walk, hike or run the entire 26 between July 1 and August 31, 2022, and earn not only bragging rights, but also a commemorative t-shirt.

We are providing you with RaceJoy as part of the official race experience for the Dublin Trail Challenge.

Download the RaceJoy mobile app in advance to ensure proper phone setup. Invite your friends and family to track you and send you cheers!

Some key RaceJoy features include:

GPS Progress Alerts

  • Receive continual progress updates as you complete your goal.

Live GPS Tracking

  • Remote spectators can track your progress live in a map view. You can also track others.


  • Receive supportive audio cheers from remote friends & family.

Virtual Results (virtual events only)

  • Enter your race-assigned bib number to automatically submit your finish data for real-time scored results.
To use RaceJoy, you must carry your phone and activate tracking on the day you complete your race.

Tracking Progress

To receive credit for your progress, after you have signed up for the event AND complete a section and/or all of the trails: 

  1. Go to Results page.
  2. Click “Submit Virtual Results”.
  3. Under “Participant Lookup” look up yourself using your name or email address.  
  4. Click “Log Activities”. Complete the requested information – run or walk, miles completed, and elevation gain.  
  5. In upper right corner of same screen click “Load Activity from File”.  Upload file from your Garmin, Apple Watch, FitBit, or any device you already use. 

If you do not have access to or do not already have a tracking device you prefer, download the free RaceJoy App that can be used on any smart phone. All registered participants will receive a RaceJoy link via email to access the official Dublin Trail Challenge route and be recognized as an official participant. To use RaceJoy:

  1. Download the RaceJoy app and load the official Dublin Trail Challenge trails map onto your smart phone.
  2. Walk, run or hike the official trails starting at the start line of each section, and finishing at the finish line of each section.
  3. Turn on the RaceJoy app when starting your walk/run. Turn on the app at the start line, and turn it off as you cross the finish line. Your time will automatically be recorded and submitted as soon as you stop the RaceJoy timer.
  4. Check the website to see your progress.
