Event Location
Black Miners Bar, Folsom Lake State Recreation Area, is located on Greenback Ln just west of Folsom Blvd. The event will take place in the grass near the day-use beach area. Once past the entrance, follow signs to parking.
Description
Join us at Black Miners Bar (FKA Negro Bar) in Folsom for the inaugural Five Alarm 5K & Chili Cook-Off, supporting the California First Responder Support Team (CFRST). The 5K Run/Walk takes place on the Jedediah Smith Memorial Trail along the banks of Lake Natoma. After the race, stick around for chili tasting and vendor booths!
Packet Pickup
Packet Pickup and Onsite Registration will take place at Black Miners Bar on Race Day, May 13 from 7:00am - 8:15am.
Arrival Time
Please arrive between 7:00am - 7:45am. All vehicles will need to pay the $10 day-use fee (or show a valid State Parks Golden Poppy Pass). We expect it will take several minutes to get past the entrance kiosk. Please note, the kiosk does not open until 7:00am.
CA State Park Entry Fee
All vehicles entering Black Miners Bar must pay the $10 day use fee or have a valid State Parks Annual Pass
