Description
Come and celebrate Mexican Independence Day at this unique DOUBLE FUN run! You do a MILE run followed by 5K run with 10-15 min break between each race!! Combined times will be used for overall and age-group awards!! Every participant completing the double run gets a medal!!!
Start/Finish line will be Shinzen Group activity area!
7:30AM MILE RUN (WOMEN) 7:45AM MILE RUN (MEN)
8:00AM 5K RUN/WALK 9:00AM KIDS RACES
MILE course it's flat/fast. Perfect to get a PR! 5k course it's mostly flat and on the road!!
All participants get FREE TACOS, MEXICAN “AGUA FRESCA” DRINKS, ice cream, medal, dri fit shirt and dance entertainment (Mexican Folkloric and Zumba)
$1,000 prize award for top 5 overall!
Top 5 overall (men/women) 1st ($150), 2nd ($125), 3rd ($100), 4th ($75), 5th ($50)
TOP 3 male/female on age group categories receive special awards!! Age group categories (MS, HS, College, <19, 20-24, 25-29, 20-34, 35-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+) LATIN DANCE COMPETITION (cumbia, salsa, merengue…) for top 3 overall men/female performers 1st ($75), 2nd ($50), 3rd ($25),
*Students. NOT eligible for cash awards! *Shirts. Must be registered by August 4th.
Kids Races!!!
9:00 am - ages 7-10 years, 400 meters. 9:05 am - ages 4-6 years, 200 meters.
9:10 am - ages 3 years, 100 meters. 9:15 am - ages 1-2 years, 50 meters
9:20 am - under 1 year, 10 meters. All kids get medals!!!
Walking Registration & Packet Pickup: Saturday, 09/12 (2:00-5:30 pm). Fleet Feet store, Fresno.
Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup: Shinzen Group Area, beginning at 6:00 am.
