Description
This running program consists of 16 one hour sessions and is open to all boys and girls in tk-8th grade. It will include lessons on running fundamentals, games, and prizes. Practices will be held Mondays and Fridays from Friday, September 7th - Monday, November 5th at Coyote Valley Elementary School (CVE): 18950 Coyote Valley Road in Hidden Valley Lake. CVE students will meet on the playground right after school. All non-CVE students are asked to meet us on the playground and arrive no earlier than 3:20. Practice will run from 3:30-4:30. Participants must preregister by August 31st. Space is limited to 42 kids.
Please send your child to school in comfortable running clothes and with a water bottle on practice days. We will have a quick informational meeting right after the first practice at CVE at 4:30 on Friday, September 7th. $20 per child covers the entire program. Lake County Milers will receive a discount.

Training Sessions
We will be using the RRCA Kids Run the Nation Program. Practices will include warm-up, discussion on various running topics, walk or run based on personal fitness level, games, and prizes. All ages and fitness levels welcome.
