Description
In 1995, during the 40 Days leading up to Palm Sunday, 23 intercessors set out to prayer walk the El Camino Real (the Kings Highway) an 800-mile journey from San Diego to San Francisco. They prayed for a spiritual awakening throughout the state and that GOD’s Kingdom would come and HIS will would be done. Consisting of Christians from various denominations and ethnic backgrounds every step of the journey was covered in prayer.
On the 25th anniversary of this original prayer walk we are planning to prayer walk California again. From February 26 – April 5, 2020 we will be standing as one with the generation that walked it in 1995 and calling on God in a fresh way for His Spirit to move across our state. The 800 Mile long total distance is split into 326 short segments; please adopt one or more segments of the prayer walk and let us seek the LORD together for this great state.
Q: I like the idea of the California Prayer Walk - In which way can I participate in it?
A: You can either
(1) prayer walk it - alone or with friends,
or (2) drive it - alone or in a group,
or (3) simply lay hands on the map of your adopted prayer walk segment and pray over it!
When you sign up to adopt one or more of the 326 segments between San Diego and San Francisco,
please make sure that you continue* and click through until the very end when you see
"CONGRATULATIONS! You are registered for Pray California Prayer Walk".
*Donations are voluntary and are not a condition to adopt a segment of the Pray California Prayer Walk.
