Bruin Run/Walk

UCLA Bruin Run/Walk is back with the 21st Annual Bruin Run/Walk, this year benefiting The Painted Turtle. The Painted Turtle is a year-round medical specialty camp for children who have serious medical conditions. All campers and their families attend free of charge. Support us in this cause, “Be Ecstatic! Join the Run/Walk Virtual Magic!”

UCLA Bruin Run/Walk is one of twelve committees within UCLA's USAC Student Wellness Commission (SWC). We are responsible for organizing one of the biggest student-run events on campus every year: a 5K in the spring. It brings together students, UCLA faculty, and members of the greater LA community for a wonderful cause. This year, we will be encouraging our community to participate in the 5k from the comfort and safety of their own neighborhoods. All participants will receive a digital race bib, a *real life* goody bag sent to you, & more! We ask that everyone who registers for our event completes their run/walk between April 16th and April 25th, 2021. On Sunday April 25th, join us via zoom! Stay tuned for more information regarding participants waivers, giveaways, award categories, and how to share your race route/times/etc!

The Annual Bruin Run/Walk 5K has been a tradition on the UCLA campus for the past 20 years, and this year we are looking forward to encouraging our community to participate safely from home. In past years, we had gathered more than 1000 run/walk participants and were able to raise over $75,000 for a number of great causes.
