How It Works

The Literacy Challenge

Did you know that nationwide only 35% of 4th-grade students are reading proficiently? That's why Reading Partners one-on-one reading intervention program is so critical to help combat the literacy challenge across the US. Your registration fee will help Reading Partners continue serving more students and empowering them to become lifelong readers.

Description

On May 17th, Reading Partners is kicking off its first-ever Ready, Set, Read Run. Across the US, participants will have one week to walk, skip, hop, roll, or run a route of their choice that is 1 mile, 5 kilometers, or 10 kilometers in length. At the end of the seven days, on May 24th, participants come together for a virtual commencement that will celebrate everyone’s amazing accomplishments and the amount of funding that the event has been able to raise for students. Keep an eye out for more information!

The Reading Partners team put together a fun playlist you can listen to while participating! Check it out here.
