HERO Swim and Walk/Run Fundraiser 2019

We are looking forward to seeing you at the Third Annual HERO Swim fundraiser. This year we have selected the The Coral Reef Alliance, a 25 year old Charity based in Oakland, CA that works to make an impact on the reefs, and communities that depend on them. Our funds will go towards removing all groundwater cesspools and agricultural runoff in Hawaii that destroy reefs and aiding communities in creating sustainable agricultural solutions to save the reefs and support those who live near them. 

HERO Swim is a student-run fundraiser founded and run by high school students in Palo Alto.  HERO Swim participants will either swim laps at the University Club of Palo Alto pool or meet at the University Club and walk the nearby Stanford Dish.  We welcome HEROES of all ages and abilities. 

HERO Swim is free to Sign Up.  Once registered, participants will be emailed a link to their own fundraising page and then can forward it to family, friends, and their community to secure donations or pledges.  

- A $200 grand prize will be awarded to the HERO that raises the most, as well as a $100 2nd place prize, and a $50 3rd place consolation. 

-Any HERO that exceeds $100 will receive a Dry-Bag, Coral Reef Alliance Sticker, HERO Swim sticker, and Temporary Tattoo

-Any HERO that exceeds $250 raised will receive all of the above prizes as well as a Coral Reef Alliance Rash-guard

-Any HERO that exceeds $500 raised will receive all of the above prizes as well as a HERO Swim T-Shirt 

The event will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 - participants can swim or walk in any of the following three time slots: 9-11am, 11am-1pm, 1-3pm.
