Description
Welcome to the 2024 Turkey Trot 5K!
Hosted by Lost Sierra Circuit and Healthy Bodies Fitness Gym
***Online sign-ups end at 9:00 PM on Wednesday. There will be day of registration available. Please be sure to arrive early. The race starts at 9:00AM.***
Join us for a fun 5K run/walk in three different divisions:
Speedy Division: Timed race (award for 1st place in men and women category).
Pack Test Division: As a tribute to our favorite local forest employees (special addition in honor of Ryan), this is timed race with a 25lb vest (award for 1st place in mens and womens category).
Chill Division: Dog and stroller friendly (every participant receives a finisher gift!).
Join us for great company, prizes, snacks, and all the fun of a Turkey Trot in the Lost Sierra!This event is in honor of Ryan Tompkins, who passed away in May of 2024. Ryan was known not only for his gentle manner, awesome sense of humor, and for being a wonderful husband & dad-- but also for his hard work and dedication within forest health and fire resilience in three counties. As per the family's wishes, all proceeds will be donated to the Fire Safe Council.
