SSPA's 4th Annual Trails for Tails

Join us for SSPA's 4th annual Trails for Tails, a virtual walk/race/roll of your choosing. We are doing things differently this year by allowing you to really choose your own adventure, whether it be on foot or on wheels, for the 1/2 marathon, complete it all at once or over a time period that fits your schedule.  Sign up now and complete your race anytime between April 27th and May 11th 2024 (results must be uploaded by May 12th 2024). Every entry gives you a shirt and a finisher's medal, with all proceeds going directly to SSPA's life saving shelter dog program. Prizes will be awarded to top fundraisers and fundraising teams!

TO JOIN:

• Register for the Trails for Tails virtual race before May 11th 2024
• Complete the distance of your choosing at your convenience at any time or location (including your treadmill!)
• Celebrate your accomplishments by sharing on social media! #SSPATrailsForTrails and upload photos here on our site

PACKET PICKUP:

• Available onsite at SSPA's Sacramento facility -3350 Airport road, Sacramento CA on April 27th, 2024 12pm-3pm
• Raceday giveaways (bib, shirt, etc.) will be mailed to you if you cannot pickup in person.

Sacramento Shelter Pets Alive (SSPA) is a nonprofit that serves as a safety net and support system for our region’s shelter dogs and other pets, with a focus on the most vulnerable. We are currently raising funds to open our own facility in Sacramento!

SSPA is a group of staff and volunteers who provide innovative, comprehensive behavioral and rehabilitative programs, foster care and rescue support, and adoption retention that have proved to sustain a high live outcome. SSPA approaches every dog as an individual, with the understanding that physical appearance does not determine behavior.
